Alright ladies and gents, a new series will be starting here on the blog called "5 things I love!". Hoping to have it be a weekly thing, I'd LOVE to hear from ya'll about what your loving too. Some weeks it may be what I'm loving, some weeks it may be what my family is loving and who knows down the line I may even have guest spots on for it ;)
This weeks 5 things I'm loving!!
1. Zego - We attended KidFest in Portland, OR (semi-local to us)this weekend and met the Gal who started Zego and got to try out quite a few of the products and every one of them is AMAZING!!! They are allergen free and fit into our lifestyle with all of our allergies and food no-nos. They are vegan, paleo and allergen friendly. Please check them out and feel free to check out the kickstarter they have running too! My family and I will be supporting them! <3 We loved the pear bar and the mix-ins amazing guys!! Can't wait to see what you do!
2. So the tiny humans and I are obsessed with these Beyond Meat the beyond "burgers" the Mister not so much he can't even tolerate the smell (LOL, but he's still eating the meats here and there along with dairy and has been since we went full Vegan this summer). We have been using them not only as burgers but as taco meat, in sos gravy and so much more. The SOS gravy is much requested and will be on the blog soon! <3 Funny thing about these burgers was the first time we tried them I was not a fan, the tiny humans were fans from the beginning but they have grown on me. We struggle to find things that are soy free and gluten free AND vegan, but these fit the bill!
3. The last food item this week (haha we are loving some food this week!! ) is Orgain Organic Protein powder , now I'm usually a Vega and Arbonne girl, but have recently fallen in love with Orgain its good stuff we are digging the creamy chocolate fudge it's great in the morning with my coffee or even as a sweet special treat for the kids ( I give it to them as "chocolate milk" for an extra boost when they need it ) it's not super grainy but it's definitely got the green taste, it just comes with the territory, we are used to it though so it doesn't bother us much.
4. Another amazing find (and semi-local to us) from KidFest was Mes Amies Soaps we brought home the amazing coconut + lime soap. Vegan and cruelty free and smells divine. The kids love love love this scent and the hubs and I well anything citrus is a given for us. The bar is a bit big which is great but I have a thing about soft soap, so into smaller pieces it went!!
5. Another goodie is dry shampoo, give me all the dry shampoo ladies and gents. I have colored hair at the moment it is blue and purple and let me tell you it's a beast to keep up with even as a professional and dry shampoo is my best friend. I wash every 2-3 days and having dry shampoo keeps it looking good in the interim. At the moment I'm loving Batiste Hair - they are vegan and have many scents which is great for me, cuz I get bored with smells. I'm digging on the cherry at the moment!
